Assam govt, CM most corrupt in India: Rahul Gandhi

During the initial day of the 'Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra' in Assam, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi asserted that the state may be harboring the "most corrupt government" and the "most corrupt CM" in the nation. Speaking at a public gathering in Haloating, Sivasagar district, the entry point into Assam from Nagaland, Gandhi criticized the ruling BJP and its ideological counterpart Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) for allegedly fostering animosity and misappropriating public funds. Gandhi remarked, "Assam might be home to the most corrupt government in India".
