Union minister Amit Shah launches ‘Bharat Organics’ brand of a national cooperative to promote organic products, more labs to be set up for certification

Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah has launched the 'Bharat Organics' brand of the National Cooperative Organics Limited (NCOL). Shah stated that it will be the biggest undertaking in the country in the next five years and will become the most trusted and largest brand in the global organic product market. The NCOL aims to promote organic products and increase returns for farmers while giving them direct access to the market. It will manage the supply chain of organic products produced by cooperative societies across India.
