Polling staff now required to cast vote at facilitation centre at place of duty

Accepting the Election Commission's recommendation in September 2022, the law ministry amended the Conduct of Election Rules, 1961, to make it mandatory for officers and staff on election duty, including police officers, to vote at the voter facilitation center set up at their place of duty.
