Supreme Court nixes plea challenging DY Chandrachud appointment as CJI

As the petition was mentioned for an urgent hearing, a bench of CJI UU Lalit, Justices S Ravindra Bhat and Bela M Trivedi agreed to hear the case 15 minutes before lunch break and dismissed it after a brief hearing.
